This should have been in my last blog but I didn't think of including more information about the artist who created the design of the reverse Type II AGE's.

One of our younger friends inspired me to write this haiku. Haiku as we know is a form of poetry from the culture of Japan.
Last week Wednesday was the occasion of my retirement from my position as Senior Clinical Therapist in the outpatient mental health clinic that I worked at for the last 20 years. It culminated a 48 year career in the health care professions. I have held the highest credential in my field since 1996 as a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work and I have worked with children, emergency mental health services, the criminally insane, incarcerated sex offenders, in home family therapy, substance abuse treatment, and geriatrics. I have worked with head trauma and spinal cord injury patients. I have pretty much seen it all and heard it all over the years. And yet my career will continue in semi retirement as I return to private practice. I am pleased that I took my entire caseload with me into private practice in a setting that will allow me to continue to work with these individuals until my work is done.
