I've been saving change for years and years. I finally got around to sorting by issue and decade and rolled them. You will be surprised how many are worth more than the face amount. I'm putting them into holders and building up stock to eventually sell at coin shows after I cherry pick through them to up grade my personal collection. You might get a price guide and check to see if you have anything worth selling or trading

Cool, do you plan to keep them, or cash them in?

You know one year my wife and I decide to put all the change we found into a jar. As we found a few paper bills it amounted to a little over twenty dollars was enough to treat us to a meal at the local Jack-in-the-Box in town. Not as much as your quarter jar though I felt the same way upon spending the findings.

Hopefully you are investing it in one beautiful Seated Liberty Quarter in VF condition. (:

We have a VW car piggy bank. We play punch bug in the car. If you see a punch bug and win the punch the loser puts a quarter in the bank. If you win with a yellow VW punch bug the loser puts 50 cents in the bank. If you make a mistake and punch, and it turns out it wasn't a VW punch bug, you owe a dollar. We only use quarters. Always fun to empty the bank,, and then use the money for a couple nights out for dinner. I used to love collecting coins when I was young, and my grandfather used to save up change for me when I came to visit. Was always fun looking through the change for wheat cents, silver, etc.

I admit I had to look this game up. What I thought. Sounds like a fun game...I like to try to figure out personalized license plates.
