West Point Mint Quarters

| CheerioCoins

The Great American Coin Hunt sparked thousands of people to start looking through rolls and rolls of quarters for these special “W” mint quarters because of their value from $8-$25 in circulated condition. I started looking for them in 2021 and have found 10 since, five of the 2020 ones and five of the 2019 ones. So far I have all but two designs, the 2019 American Memorial Park, Northern Mariana Islands and the 2020 Tallgrass Prairie, Kansas. I also bought two PCGS MS65 W quarters, the 2019 War in the Pacific and the 2019 San Antonio Missions. For more information about the W quarters, you can check out my old blogs about both the 2019 and 2020 designs. Hope you enjoy my collection!

2018 Ukarine 10 Hryven, Defenders of Donetsk Airport.

| CheerioCoins

Pryvit!* This is my new coin that I won in the YN auction it is a 2018 Ukarine 10 Hryven, Defenders of Donetsk Airport. The story behind this coin is that there was a war going on at the Donetsk International Airport and Ukrainian soldiers were defending it. Other brave Ukrainian servicemen called “The Cyborgs” helped the defenders of the Donetsk Airport. These brave men were volunteers. An inspiring story along with this cool coin. I made a nice photo with background of the coin. Click on the photo for more information. *Hello in Ukrainian

My Slabbed/Graded Coins, Notes, and Medals

| CheerioCoins

I decided to do a collection on all the slabbed coins, medals, and notes I’ve gotten over the years. I decided to do this since I haven’t been going to the bank to get coin rolls or going to coin shows so I haven’t been able to show you new finds/pick ups. I’ve got nine slabs so far and hope to get more. I’ve got ones graded from NGC, PMG, IGS, NumisTrust, (which is no longer called that since they rebranded) and PCI. Most of which are around MS/PF 65-70 but one is VF 20. My favorite and probably the most trusted grading company is NGC, which I have 5 coins graded by. But remember, buy the coin/medal/note, not the slab. Enjoy!

2019 S Apollo 11 50C Commemorative

| CheerioCoins

This coin I got from a coin shop while I was visiting Florida caught my eye. I have always been wanting the Apollo 11 commemorative coin. Even though this is the clad one (I wanted the silver one but they had already sold it) I still like it. It was graded by NGC and is PF69 Ultra Cameo. The obverse shows the footprint that was planted by astronaut Neil Armstrong and the reverse show the reflection of an astronaut helmets reflection. The holder has an astronaut on it. I got it for $12 and in Greysheet is worth $27 so I got a great deal!
