    notes

The coin in my avatar. While hunting coins I came across this strange looking Buffalo nickel. This is a nickel that had the die relapped to the point of eliminating the third feather. The small feather between the neck and long feather. This variety is known as the Two-Feather Buffalo Nickel. The infamous 3-Legged Buffalo nickel is a relapped die variety also. These finds are what make numismatics fun.
