Each year since 1984 a black-tie social event is held at an Atlantic City Casino Hotel for the purpose of raising scholarship money for culinary students. These plates originally started out as being complimentary with a ticket purchase. In later years, the plates were sold in addition to the $200+ ticket price per person. 700 guests were in attendance at the 2015 event.
