My Short Snorter
Bob Hope, Billy Conn, Jerry Colonna, Jack Pepper. Pepper was a comedian that traveled with Hope, Hope needs no introduction. Conn was a prizefighter out of Philly, I think....Colonna was famous for his wide eyes and his AhhhhhYes! catch phrase. I couldnt get the full image to fit so Jack Pepper portion is not visible. Oh Well...

Thanks for posting this photo and commentary. It is a neat note. I have been interested in these short snorters; I understand that many are associated with World War II. I picked up one a few years ago with four non-celebrity signatures, but it is a Hawaii $1 silver certificate (series 1935 A). Although it is in beat-up condition and worth very little, I find it quite interesting: Where and when did these people sign this bill? Who were they?
