A Bright Indication

Today I attended the final day of our club's Spring show, PAN, in Monroeville (Pittsburgh), PA. Wow!  At least 75 dealers between two rooms from all around the country. I showed up around 11:30 to find somewhere in the neighborhood of 1,000 people browsing the many dealers, and buying. Lot's of buying. Even with the same protocols as last fall, the turn out comparative was double. Me? I only found a missing 1875 s, above bow Seated Liberty Dime in a solid VG-10 for $16.00, while my niece blew the rest on several different ancient coins. An awesome day for sure, and a great indicator for other shows forth coming around the country. And, not to forget, I ran into Mokie! Sorry Golfer, could not locate your club's tables. Not for looking, maybe my collecting partner distracted me.

Show was awesome and great time. Mokie's Irradiated dime presentation was great. KidZone looked awesome Mokie. Very nice Mokie ! Met PAN President Tom, 3rd VP Randy, Ben Franklin-Patrick McBride who's presentation is always fantastic!, Rob the membership chairman and others. Met ANA president Colonel Ellsworth. Talked with dealers. Bought an Antietam commemorative.  Talked with a couple other coin clubs. West Penn coin club, Coneca, and the famous WPNS coin club, founded 1878. Had conversations with dealers, and visitors. Looked at cases and cases of coins, medals, etc. Dan, Mark and I of HCC enjoyed the show very much and appreciate PAN for having us. Anyone reading this, consider joining PAN, even if not from PA.
