I ended up not being able to GO. I left my cellphone at a friends last night in the VIllage. I got home at 2AM and looked up the LIRR and saw that the Rokonkema line was split in three parts from the city to Farmingdale and it would be a hour trip. I was OK with that as I have a day to kill but when I got up at 6:30AM and got ready to leave the house, my phone was missing! I can't call a cab from the Train station without the phone. SO I called my friend in the Village (she is not 75 years old) and she had already called me to tell me she had the phone. So I hoped on the Brightone Line to get to the Village, and B was cancelled and the Q delayed by snow and a suicide attempt. I finally got to the Village (a 25 minute trip on most days) in an hour. So I settled on Breakfast with my friend until about 1PM and then ended up heading to see my Son in Queens for a few minutes and enough time to drop some cash on him... and headed home. I ended up doing everything but getting to the Melville Show.
I so wish we had a regular club and aregular show in Brooklyn!
