Since I can't go to any coin shows or club meetings, I've mostly been surfing ebay, which is not the same. What is everyone doing to satisfy that "need" to meet and talk and trade coins? I wish there was a sight to do a virtual coin show but I'm not aware of one. Some day there'll be a vaccine and we can all meet again:).

I check out Coin Television on YouTube from time to time, but even they have been running vintage videos as of late. Also try the media (audio and video) selections from the Newman Numismatic Portal.

I like checking out online bidding in local auctions, but the fees are often prohibitive.

I have red star sellers on ebay. That means there 100% no complaints. I always check there record.I get magazines. Watch all kind of shows don't buy from them. To expensive. They try very hard for you to buy this very rare coin. Rick Tomaska was selling Kennedy halves only 198.00. MS 70. I listen to him I bought the same coin same grade same label 48.99. They tell you this and that and these are so rare they show mintages of coins that were made and how many were sent it. It just means allot of people.didn't send them in they like them raw. And they drill this into your head they don't stop.He careful!!

The Facebook Forum, American Numismatic Association Members, is a great place for lively debate and all the 500 plus members are in the ANA. It is kind of like a continuous coin club meeting and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I also have been posting lots of coins on instagram and looking at other instagram collectors sites as well. finally the e-learning classes that ANA is sponsoring is a great way to learn while we are all in varying states of seclusion.
My local coin club resumed meetings earlier this month, they will continue and the next meeting will be in August, I am looking forward to that.

Great ideas! I do go on Dave Lawrence auctions have have gotten a few good deals. I don’t know about other auction sites other than eBay. Mike, thanks for the warnings on buying things from a sales channel. I’m really enjoying ANA Facebook and plan on posting.I wish there was a forum here for coin showing and swapping/selling. I guess eBay is the only way to do that.I do need to check out Instagram, never thought of that before!

No problem. I do not do social media these days. Just last week my 88 year old mother in law was robbed by scammers on these sites. I happy were I am. Just my opinion. You buy what you like and shop were you like.

The ANA's e-learning academy has been great, past runnings of these are on their channel on Youtube.
