So I have a few questions about the education programs here. I have looked at each course that can be taken but I'm still a little confused. So i want to extent my knowledge beyond just U.S coins. For example, the course that teaches you how to detect counterfeits in us coins, I also want to learn how to apply that to other world currencies as well. What I learn in that class, can it be applied to world currencies or is there a separate course for that? Thanks so much guys.

also this is the American Numismatic Association not world numismatics so it will focus efforts on educating people about American numismatics

Books my friend. I'm sure the ANA library will have a book on counterfeits dealing with world coins. All you need is the weight and a scale it will help. Counterfeiters have a hard time using different metals and getting the weight right. Mike.

There is usually a world coin class. Not sure if it offered this year or both sessions. Good luck.
