BIE Error? Whats that?

Hi guys! I was wondering, what is a BIE error on a Lincoln Cent? I have heard about them many times but still don't know what they are, help is appreciated, thanks!

Its a Lincoln cent error. Its a die break in the word Liberty. That term is only used with Lincoln cent errors

Here is a helpful idea.... Why don't you look it up and write up a blog about it? That way you will get practice doing numismatic research and learn about it, and you can teach it to all of us..... That's a win for you and us.

I have heard of this error as well a few times but I never learned what it is. I'll try to do some research on it and get back to you if I find anything

The technical definition is a die break between the B and E in LIBERTY creating the appearance of an I. Hence, BIE, which as Bama pointed out only occurs on Lincoln Cents.
