Glenn Smedley Awards presented at ANA Philadelphia show
Acknowledging those who demonstrate the spirit of the late Glenn Smedley, a member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) and hobby enthusiast who was known as a “collector’s collector,” the ANA annually presents its Glenn Smedley Memorial Award medal.
This year’s recipients, honored at the convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in August, are:
- Lawrence P. Baber of San Diego, California
- Joseph E. Boling of Federal Way, Washington
- John R. Eshbach of Lancaster, Pennsylvania
- Arthur M. Fitts III of Framingham, Massachusetts
- Ron Landis, Eureka Springs, Arkansas
- Mary E. Sauvain of Colorado Springs, Colorado
- Louis C. Villalpando of Biloxi, Mississippi
