HERITAGE AUCTIONS NAMED OFFICIAL AUCTIONEER FOR 2014 ATLANTA NATIONAL MONEY SHOW

Heritage Auctions will serve as the Official Auctioneer for the American Numismatic Association’s 2014 National Money ShowSM, to be held at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Ga., Feb. 27 to March 1.

The Atlanta National Money Show will mark the 44th time that Heritage Auctions has been selected as the Official Auctioneer for an ANA convention.

“The American Numismatic Association has partnered with Heritage Auctions many times over the past 30 years, and we’re proud to have them on board with us again,” said Kimberly Kiick, the executive director for the American Numismatic Association. “We look forward to working with Heritage to make the Atlanta National Money Show a premier numismatic event.”

“Heritage has a long and far-reaching relationship with the ANA and we’re very much looking forward to opening a new chapter in Atlanta in 2014,” said Steve Ivy, co-founder and CEO of Heritage Auctions. “The ANA is a tremendous collector resource and we fully support its educational mission.”

The Atlanta National Money Show features more than 500 numismatic dealers with an extensive inventory; the ANA Museum Showcase, exhibiting some of the world’s most valuable and beautiful coins and paper money; the Collector Exhibits area; as well as educational presentations and seminars. Show hours are 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27; 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 1. ANA members are admitted free.
