Hotel accomodations still available for national money show in March
Accomodations are going fast for the hotels officially serving the American Numismatic Association’s (ANA) National Money Show 2000 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., March 3-5.
Although the headquarters hotel, the Mariana Marriott at 1881 S.E. 17th St., is sold out, two other establishments still are offering special discounted convention rates.
The Best Western/Mariana Inn at 2150 S.E. 17th St. Causeway (800/327-1390) offers single/double accomodations for $99 per night, which includes a complimentary full breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance of the Greater Ft. Lauderdale/ Broward County Convention Center at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd. The hotel will provide transportation to the convention center upon request.
AmeriSuites at 1851 S.E. 10th Ave. (954/763-7670) has single/double suites available for $129 per night. Included is a complimentary breakfast and convention center shuttle.
For reservations, ANA members should contact the hotel directly. The deadline to ensure room availability at these special rates is Feb. 1, 2000.
The ANA has arranged for airfare 5-15 percent discounts on Delta Air Lines, the offical airline for the National Money Show. Since Florida is such a popular travel destination, especially at that time of year, the ANA Convention Department is urging those planning to attend the convention in Ft. Lauderdale to make their reservations early.
