Hotel Room Block for Charlotte National Money Show™ Nearing Capacity
Convention goers who wish to take advantage of the American Numismatic Association special group rates at the Westin Charlotte, headquarters hotel for the National Money Show™, March 16-18, and the Hilton Charlotte Center City, the secondary hotel, should contact the hotels directly before the rooms are sold out.
Both hotels are adjacent to the Charlotte Convention Center, where the educational exhibits, seminars and dealer bourse are located. For reservations contact The Westin Charlotte, which offers the special rate of $149 single/$159 double, at 704-375-2600, or the Hilton Charlotte Center City, offering the special rate of $134 single/double, at 704-377-1500.
The National Money Show™ is open to both ANA members and nonmembers, and admission is free (with valid photo identification). ANA conventions are family events and have a multitude of activities for everyone from the slightly interested to the advanced numismatic collector.
Activities include a large “bourse” where hundreds of dealers sell everything from modern, rare and ancient coins and paper money to numismatic supplies and books. Also featured are a variety of educational workshops and seminars, as well as an entertaining and educational collector exhibit area, where members display their collections and compete for awards. Heritage Numismatic Auctions, the event’s official auctioneer, will conduct lot viewing and auction sessions throughout the week.
ANA host clubs for the Charlotte show are The Charlotte Coin Club, North Carolina Numismatic Association and South Carolina Numismatic Association.
