As part of the Blue Star Museum program, the Money Museum offers free admission to active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve, from Memorial Day through Labor Day. This initiative, in collaboration with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and the Department of Defense, aims to make cultural experiences accessible to those who serve our country. To receive free admission, military members and their families must present valid military IDs at the front desk. This program allows military families to explore the fascinating world of numismatics and enjoy a unique museum experience.

Kids Zone at the Money Museum

The Money Museum also offers a unique and engaging experience for children aged 7-14 in its Kids Zone. Through interactive exhibits, fun activities, and free classes held every third Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., children can learn about money by doing and playing. They will explore basic and advanced concepts, such as making change and understanding monetary systems, while also gaining insights into history, geography, trade, art, and world cultures. As a bonus, parents can explore the museum exhibits for free while their children participate in the Kids Zone classes.
