The Money Museum will be closing early on Thursday, Aug. 21, during Stage 4 of the USA Pro Challenge “Pikes Peak Cycling Week.” The museum will be open at its usual time, 10:30 a.m., and then will close at noon to prepare for the closure of Cascade Avenue at 1 p.m.

The USA Pro Challenge race began earlier this month in Aspen and will be coming through Colorado Springs Aug. 17-24. During this week Colorado Springs will be hosting several events and activities for all ages to enjoy.

During the building closure, Cascade Avenue will be full of exciting events and activities for all ages, including an 11-team cycling competition composed of employees from surrounding local businesses. The cycling course will be on Tejon between Pikes Peak and Kiowa and employees will be riding “tricked-out kid’s bikes.”

The museum will return to normal business hours (10:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday) on Friday, Aug. 22.
