eLearning Academy
Designed to spread numismatic knowledge on an online platform, the eLearning Academy provides a variety of engaging educational programs, including the Aristotle’s Vault video series, NumismaTalks webinars, youth activities and much more.
Numismatic Diploma Program
The program provides American Numismatic Association members the opportunity to obtain a “Numismatic Scholar” certificate by completing a series of correspondence courses, hands-on seminars or a combination of the two.
NumismaTalks Live Webinars
Explore. Study. Connect. Join us twice a month—on the second and fourth Thursday from 12pm-1pm MT–for live webinars on all things numismatic. These hour-long presentations are free to join live and are sure to appeal to a wide variety of collecting interests. Register now — space is limited!

Summer Seminar
Summer Seminar is a once-a-year opportunity for numismatic learning and camaraderie that offers students a varied selection of weeklong courses designed for discovery or continued study. For many students, Summer Seminar is a life-changing event; it has catapulted the careers of several of the nation’s most respected collectors, authors and dealers.
Edward C. Rochette Money Museum
Through the discovery of money, America’s largest museum dedicated to numismatics brings culture to life. The museum explores art, history, science and much more to promote the diverse nature of money and related items. Explore online galleries, virtual tours and more.

College Scholarships

Coins for As
Earn 3 or more As in school and we’ll send you a coin and a FREE initial one-year digital membership to the American Numismatic Association. Home-schooled students are encouraged to participate as well. In fact, about 10 percent of the Coins for As participants are from home-schooled students.
Scouts
Whether you collect state quarters, world coins, or coins with a special theme such as animals — turn your hobby into a badge! The American Numismatic Association has information to help scout leaders conduct a Scout Workshop, and the ANA’s Young Numismatist (YN) programs provide special collecting information to help you earn your badge or patch.
Young Numismatist Blog

Youth Membership
Join the American Numismatic Association as a Young Numismatist for as little as $16 annually. Membership includes access to the eLearning Academy, a digital or print subscription to The Numismatist magazine, and a package of fun collectibles to expand or start your collection!
Teacher Tools
Lesson Plans
Provided by the American Numismatic Association, these lesson plans are newly designed and grounded in the principles of inquiry-based learning. Using historical events, social movements, primary sources, etc., teachers are given essential questions and “I can…” statements to drive a deeper exploration of the social sciences.

Youth Activities
Excitedly, we were able to revise and develop a learning continuum for young numismatists (YNs) based on best practices for 21st-century learning. Each grade group (K-5, 6-8, and 9-12) will have specific activities designed to progressively challenge YNs to first EXPLORE in lower grades, STUDY in middle grades, and CONNECT in upper grades.
