Official World’s Fair of Money® Medals Now Available from ANA’s MoneyMarket

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – The official medal marking the American Numismatic Association’s 115th Anniversary Convention in Denver, August 16-19, is available for sale through ANA’s MoneyMarket.

The design of the medal celebrates milestones in Colorado numismatic history, from the establishment of the Denver Mint 100 years ago to the release of the Colorado commemorative quarter. It was designed and sculpted by Alex Shagin, former sculptor and engraver for the Leningrad Mint, and struck by the Keystone Mint.

The obverse of the 2006 medal depicts the façade of the Denver Mint and a columbine, the state flower. The reverse captures the majesty of the Rocky Mountains. Serially numbered medals are available individually in bronze for $45 or as a two-medal set in bronze and silver for $62.

Medals can be purchased online at www.money.org (click on “Shop at MoneyMarket”) or by contacting ANA MoneyMarket at 800-467-5725 or enterprise@money.org.
