The 2015 National Coin Week is April
19-25. This year’s theme is “Building Tomorrows: Inspiration and Innovation at World’s Fairs,” celebrating the
history of World’s Fairs and the 100th anniversary of the 1915 Panama-Pacific
International Exposition in San Francisco.
The
ANA is holding two National Coin Week competitions. The grand prize for each competition: A
1915-S Panama Pacific Exposition commemorative half dollar!
- A
video activity testing your knowledge of World’s Fairs and numismatics. Beginning
March 6, video clues will be posted on NationalCoinWeek.org and on the ANA’s YouTube
channel every Monday and Friday until
April 20. You can submit your answers on www.money.org after the last clue is released; those with
perfect scores enter a prize drawing. - The 7th annual ANA Club Trivia
Challenge. ANA member clubs answer 20 questions about World’s Fairs and
Expositions, and those that earn the high score qualify for a prize and are
entered in a prize drawing. Registered clubs also receive a promotional package
with buttons, bookmarks and educational materials. You can register your club on

Second
prize for each competition is an American Eagle 2015 one-tenth ounce gold $5
proof coin, and third prize is a 2015 U.S. Mint Silver Proof Set and regular
Proof Set. More prizes, including U.S. Mint Sets, will also be awarded.
