FOR
IMMEDIATE RELEASE

            The Casino
Chip and Gaming Token Collectors Club, Inc. (CC&GTCC) is pleased to
announce the following individuals will be speaking at our 23rd
Annual Casino Collectibles Convention, being held June 24-27th, 2015
at South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

            The first
of four seminars starts Thursday, June 25th with CC&GTCC Hall of
Fame member Howard Herz talking about the “History of the Burt Company and Chip
Manufacturing.”  Besides being known for
creating the displays mounted on the walls of Harvey’s Resort Hotel in Lake
Tahoe, his research led to the publication of the first book devoted solely to
casino chips.

            The
afternoon seminar on the 25th will be conducted by Special Agent
Phillip Pedote of the Nevada Gaming Commission.
He will speak to us regarding the “Duties of the Enforcement Division.”

            Friday,
June 26th bring us a pair of collecting heavyweights.  At 8:00 am, Ed Hertel will discuss “Illegal
Chips.”  Ed is the publisher of “Ed
Hertel’s Illegal Gambling Matchbooks”, containing over 740 pictures of
rare illegal matchbook covers from all over the country, and “Ed Hertel’s
Price Guide for Illegal Casino Chips”, a wonderful reference book to help
you identify any illegals you have in your collection.  Ed will bring his research & knowledge of
backroom gambling with a seminar that should be very entertaining to anybody
who has chosen illegals as what they primarily collect.

            The final
seminar features “The undisputed King of Casino Chips” James
Campiglia.  Having authored four volumes
of “The Official U.S. Casino Chip Price Guide, and currently available on
the web at JamesChips.com, James will discuss his experiences as a collector,
dealer and author.

            Finally, as
a token of the Club’s thanks to our Volunteers, we will hold our annual
Volunteer Banquet Buffet on Saturday, June 27th.  The Speaker for this Banquet will be the
“Duke of Fremont Street,” a collector of casino items and all things silver,
and a well-known Las Vegas local.
