Sponsors support crucial for ANA Portland Shows success

“The generous contributions by 16 sponsors were a key factor in the success of the recent National Money Show in Portland, Oregon,” said Christopher Cipoletti, American Numismatic Association Executive Director.

“The continuing strong support by donors means we will continue to expand educational programs and public outreach about the hobby even in times of greater financial need.” National Gold Exchange and Numismatic Guaranty Corporation were Title Sponsors of the Portland show, each donating $7,500 to support all activities and events held March 26 – 28.

There were 14 Secondary Sponsors, each donating $1,000 or more to support specific events or programs: American Heritage Minting, Inc. (Meeting Place); American Numismatic Rarities (du Pont 1866 dollar exhibit); Classic Coin Company (convention activities); Heritage Numismatic Auctions (meeting room); Kevin Lipton Rare Coins (Girl and Boy Scout merit badge clinic); Main Line Coin & Stamp, Inc. (YN Treasure Trivia game and floor pages); Lee Minshull Rare Coins, Inc. (Numismatic Theatre); Pinnacle Rare Coins; Rare Coin Wholesalers (exhibit area); Spectrum Numismatics (ANA Money Museum exhibit and Hospitality Room); J.J. Teaparty (Girl and Boy Scout merit badge clinic); Texas Numismatic Investments, Inc. (convention marketing); and U.S. Coins, Inc. (Message Center).

“The ANA thanks the commitment of our show sponsors, and we look forward to continued support from the professional numismatics community for the promotion, marketing, and educational programs planned for the ANA’s World’s Fair of Money® in Pittsburg, August 18 – 22.”
