The numismatic highlight of the talk features a dazzling display of countries which issued ‘colorized’ coins: in gold, silver, and regular circulation issues. Canada, in 2004, was the first country to do so with a colorized quarter: ‘A Poppy Remembrance Coin’ honoring fallen soldiers in world wars.
