YN Dollars

1. YN dollars can be used in our monthly YN auctions. New lots will be posted on the first of each month – bidding closes on the 15th.

2. YN dollars can also be used for the annual Online YN Auction – held in October each year.

3. YNs may NOT share their YN Dollars. YN Dollars are NOT transferrable and must be earned by any YN who submits a request for an eligible activity or accomplishment.

Request YN Dollars

YN Dollars are designed to reward Young Numismatists for participation in activities related to the world of numismatics. YNs are able to save and spend this physical internal scrip of the ANA’s Education Department to earn prizes in the Education Department’s Monthly and Annual YN Auctions.

Part of this process requires YNs to manage this unique internal money in preparation for managing their real-world money. As such, the ANA is not responsible for lost, misplaced, or stolen YN Dollars. YN Dollars are non-transferable. At the end of all auctions, YN Dollars must be sent to the ANA’s Education Department within 2 weeks, as the only form of payment accepted. Continue reading to understand how YN Dollars (YN$) can be earned. Evidence of completion (pictures, fliers, etc.) must be submitted.
