Commemorate the 2024 World’s Fair of Money® with Convention Medals & Collectibles

The ANA’s 133rd Anniversary Convention medal features the Chicago Theater’s iconic neon marquee sign with the city’s spectacular skyline on the obverse. Light bulbs fill the numbers 133 on the reverse. The piece was designed by ANA Graphic Designer Shayla Bradford, the artist behind the 2021 and 2022 World’s Fair of Money convention medals. A Colorado Springs native, Bradford has been employed with the ANA since 2018. This is her third time designing a World’s Fair of Money medal, and she has also crafted other pieces for exhibit awards.

An avid traveler and accomplished photographer, Bradford loves exploring and taking pictures of her destinations. She visited Chicago last year and was inspired by the city’s lights, vintage signs, and architecture. She is excited when her favorite creative pursuits—design and photography—collide as they did on this medal. She wanted to give the coin-show piece a showbiz feel by placing dots to represent lights on the reverse. The lights connect the two sides, but the overall reverse design is simplified to contrast with the obverse’s complex cityscape, which includes the 110-story Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower).

For the WFM’s 133rd anniversary, the ANA partnered with Osborne Coinage, America’s oldest private mint since 1835. The Cincinnati-based company produces custom coins, medals, tokens, and specialty products. The 2024 WFM medal is offered as a verbronze medal, a verbronze and silver set, and as a medal-ribbon badge. Each collectible will be numbered.

Medals are available in verbronze (3” medal for $70); or as a two-medal set (1.5” verbronze medal and 1.5” silver medal) set for $155.

Convention bars are available for $6.50; or as a bar and pin holder set for $22.50
