HISTORIC WORLD WAR II “SHORT SNORTER” DISPLAY AT AMERICAN NUMISMATIC ASSOCIATION 2024 NATIONAL MONEY SHOW®
First Colorado exhibit of hundreds of vintage banknotes signed by presidents, prime ministers, and notable military leaders
Visitors to the American Numismatic Association (ANA) 2024 National Money Show (NationalMoneyShow.com) in Colorado Springs, Colorado, March 14-16, can see the one-of-a-kind display of “short snorter” banknotes autographed by World War II-era dignitaries.
The exhibit, courtesy of the nonprofit Short Snorter Project (ShortSnorter.org) features over 1,300 signatures of generals, admirals, presidents, prime ministers, ambassadors, and others during the second world war. It will be the first time the acclaimed display will be available for viewing in Colorado.

Numismatic treasures, educational programming & hundreds of dealers highlight March 14-16 show in Colorado Springs
It won’t cost a cent in admission to see millions of dollars of historic rare coins and paper money during the American Numismatic Association (ANA) National Money Show (NationalMoneyShow.com) at the iconic Broadmoor resort in Colorado Springs, Colo., March 14-16, 2024. Admission is free.
“Important coins and early U.S. bank notes from the ANA’s Edward C. Rochette Money Museum will be on display at the show, including a spectacular exhibit of the first one-cent denomination coins of the United States. Items range from the Fugio cent of 1787 to the United States Mint’s earliest issues including the large Liberty Head cents struck from 1793 to 1799,” said Thomas J. Uram,. president of the 26,000-member ANA (money.org).

“The National Money Show is a family-friendly event sponsored by the nonprofit American Numismatic Association (money.org),” explained Thomas J. Uram, president of the 26,000-member organization based in Colorado Springs. “It’s an opportunity for the public to learn about historic money and find out if they might own something valuable.”
